On top of that, the hotel has excellent connectivity: From Schiphol Airport you can take a direct train to Amsterdam Central Station and the transfer takes only 15 minutes. From the central railway station, the hotel is only 1 tram stop away.

1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM and the journey takes 15 minutes (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram number 1, 2, 5, 13 or 17 from the square in front of the station and get off at the first tram stop "De Kolk". From there you can walk to the hotel as it is across the street. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. room service excellent.
Even at the back of the hotel, some rooms can be noisy due to deliveries to shops. make sure you ask about this when booking.

The staff were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. they allowed us to book in early as our room was ready.they also took time to explain the position of the hotel in relation to places of interest.
Too few provisions on the hospitality tray.

Good location central to all amsterdam's main attractions. large en-suite room, very comfortable king size bed, clean and well maintained. very helpful and cheerful staff. we didnt have the expensive breakfast so no complaints there, but a room safe was all that was lacking. would definately recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again.
A room safe would have been nice.

It's a nice hotel, but they have few $ surprises when you do your check out.
Cost of the breakfast is expensive, you have to eat in the restaurants nearby.

Staff happily moved us to better room at request
Most hotels around the world today do not charge for internet usage. it was disapointing to see charges applied at the convent. the incremental cost of providing broadband is very low.
