The Quentin Arrive Amsterdam

The bed were very small. the rooms were very noisy from other guests and from the street.

The general impression was to sleep in a prison. the room was small with a dirty carpet. the bed had stains of something that looked like blood on the sheets and the mattress. at check in, the lady at the reception was very rude, too bad for her have to work on saturday i guess. she looked bothered when we asked 2 towels (not provided).

Perhaps i should have asked but, clean towels were not provided each day.

Yes we missed our flight un fortunatly and they would not even entertain the thought of not charging us for the first night even though we were still coming just late and i booked a room with 2 single ebds and we had 2singles togther witha double matress and 1 quilt

Very unfriendly staff, unhelpful and with a generally resentful attitude

Not so friendly staff. the shared toilets weren't terrible but weren't so great either!

This was not a negative thing for me, but they didnt clean out the room every day. but i didnt want to be bothered by that anyway.

No lockers to keep your bags in if you arrive before check in and leave before you catch your train.

No extra towels 1 between 2, no tea/coffee allowed in room, rude staff, bed broken, broken toilet outside room!!

A bit more attention in cleaning and reparing the toilets would be good

When we first arrived they messed up our booking "we booked a 4 person room they had a 3 person" so we argued for about half an hour after i showed them my print out of the booking details,finially they got me my 4 person room only to make it out that they were doing me a favour !! the stairs are a killer but hay its amsterdam,the room had 1 towel for 4 of us & they were almost 2 days to sort this out,the mattress is one large piece of foam which always slides of the frame & the showers are almost no use at all which we shared with atleast 20 people !! the toilet did not flush which is also shared so i would advise anyone who is not on a stagger to find some where else as apart from the location this place is a cave & the night staff are so rude & unwelcoming,even though this is advertised as a smoking room we managed to set off the alarm on our last night & the woman on the front desk went mental shouting at us she had no time for this & we should be more carefull even though we opened both windows fully ,i think she was hust pissed of cause she had to run up 3 flights of stairs & she was a bit overweight..the woman even smashed our 45 euro bong when she come running in our room she kicked over our table & not even an apology so no i will not be staying here again but i do love this site so hopefully find a better hotel next time

Room cleaned, etc., only every other day. lots of noise from other rooms. tv had just 4 channels, only one of which was in english and even then only a third of the time - no cable/satellite.

They didnt have us booked into a room even though we paid nearly hadto find a new hotel, room wasnt cleaned for the whole time us being there, staff moody and could tell they didnt want to be there
