 "not bad"
The best thing about the place is its location. Amsterdam is definitely not cheap as accommodation is concerned so the prices I think are higher than for better conditions in other big European cities. I stayed in low budget single room so before decide you should consider that you'll be put in a small, no window, no natural light and fresh air circulation room (there's a fan however). Because of a flooded ceiling I was upgraded to a better room for free for the last night - it was in better condition and cleaner.

 "Good location, very small room"
Hotel location and staff were great. We have a very small room at top of the hotel which was more like a cube, distance between the toilet and the bed was very small. Also no lock on the bathroom door.. Very hot so window open and nosiey on both nights. Bigger room would have made it a lot better as the staff were very helpful and the rest of the hotel looked great.

"Next to a great park! Perfect for early morning jogs!"
Nice and clean. In a beautiful part of town. Close to the Rijksmuseum. Room 106 has a little balcony. Right next door to Vongel park, perfect for strolls or early morning jogs. A taxi ride to Central station costs 15 Euros and takes less than 10 minutes.

 "No warm water"
The location was great, nearby top sight seeing points in Amsterdam. The room was a bit less then I expected for the price. The curtain rail was loose and the window was not that easy to open and in a bad shape. The door to the toilet / bathroom is on a rail which is making the bathroom visit less comfortable. In the morning you need to get up early, otherwise you will not have warm water for the shower. This was compensated by a breakfast for free.

 "Nightmare at Quentin England"
We booked budget accommodation and our experience of budget is a room with a toilet and shower, at least a window and a space for packing your clothes. There was none of the above. Our room was in the loft up some rickety staircase and the window was a hole in the roof.!!!

 "Good service but poor cleaning"
The Hotel is well located and the staff was very friendly and helpful but the twin room (especially sheets and pillows) was really dirty. Positive points are that the reception provides a 24hrs service (coffee, tea, water always available) and the city centre is only 10 mins walking.

 "bad night sleep"
the room was very hot (due to hot pipelines coming through for other rooms). You could hear a lot of noise on the street and we could hear every other guest come in at night and leave in the morning. We were awake very early as well because of the noise in the hallway and stairs.
