The Quentin Hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, in the famous Leidseplein, a center of cafés, clubs, bars, shops and restaurants. Across a beautiful canal and just opposite to the city casino, the Quentin provides his guests with a lovely canal view, alongside all major day and night attractions. Approximately 5 minutes walking will bring you to the beautiful Museumplein.

You can reach our Hotel from Amsterdam Central Station by taking Tram Lines 1,2,5 (Stop Leidseplein). From the airport take the KLM Bus ("Marriot Hotel" Stop).

1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram 1 or 5 from the square in front of the station to tram stop 'Leidseplein'. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 1 minute. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Guests that are planning to arrive earlier can store their luggage at the train station. For more information please go to the information desk at the Amsterdam Central Station.

Basic but adequate room in an excellent location. friendly helpful staff.
Luckily the lift was mended during our visit as hauling cases up the ladder ( staircase ) on arrival wasn't fun.

Great location.
We went as a group but booked 5 rooms seperately. two couples booked twin rooms however on arrival we where told that these had been overbooked and they had been 'upgraded' to tripple rooms. an upgrade was a strange word to use as these where in the basement, damp, dirty and the wardrobe doors where hanging off!!! we then said that this wasn't acceptable and they where moved to double rooms, however these where less in price but the quentin refused to refund the couples the difference. this was totally unaceptable as this was not their error and they should have been refunded the difference. also they asked for a 5 euro deposit per room key which we where told by reception we would get back if we brought both keys back - we did this and the same receptionist said he didn't know what we where talking about. basically they rip you off!! beware of this hotel. the backstage hotel was round the corner and this looked much nicer!

Excellent location. staff friendly and very helpful. they suggested a restaurant which was perfect and arrange all airport transfers. would definately go back again.
Very steep steps. especially difficult to mount after a few too many drinks
