The Quentin Hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, in the famous Leidseplein, a center of cafés, clubs, bars, shops and restaurants. Across a beautiful canal and just opposite to the city casino, the Quentin provides his guests with a lovely canal view, alongside all major day and night attractions. Approximately 5 minutes walking will bring you to the beautiful Museumplein.
You can reach our Hotel from Amsterdam Central Station by taking Tram Lines 1,2,5 (Stop Leidseplein). From the airport take the KLM Bus ("Marriot Hotel" Stop).
How to reach the The Quentin Hotel?1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).
2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram 1 or 5 from the square in front of the station to tram stop 'Leidseplein'. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 1 minute. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Did what it said on the tin!
Towels were not easily available, they were taken from your room when it was cleaned but not replaced and had to wait til the next morning to recieve someFITZGERALD

Good locationThe reception staff are terribly unfriendly and unwelcoming. the room was the smallest i've ever seen- 4 foot by 12.
to use an iron you have to leave a 20 euro deposit and there's no ironing board.
the shower facilities are on the first floor but the room is on the ground floor

It is in a very good locationOur room looked out onto a building site that commenced work at 7am each morning. obviously we were not informed about this when checking in as we would probably have stayed elsewhere. when we complained to reception the first morning we were told that we were not the only guests to have complained and that they could not move us. fair enough if there were no other rooms available but they could have maybe offered us a complimentary breakfast or a small reduction in the fee. a little token would have been appreciated. very poor and unfriendly service. this hotel is a fine option for someone who wants to drop their bags and stay out for the whole day. only good to sleep in!Ann-Marie Stone

At check in we were not told that we had a building site outside our window that would be working all day and wake us at 6am!!the staff were reluctant to change rooms or be sympathetic.we could also not change hotels as we were not able to get a refund!duckett

Ideally siuated just off the leidseplein so equidistant to museums, red light, dam square etc with canal trips right outside the hotel.
basic accomodation but clean and habitable although only there for the one night.Bathroom window was cracked and there was a gaping hole in the net curtains. stairs to rooms are very very steep but there is a lift.Anonymous

The bed was clean, the bathroom too, and there was even a nice painting and big mirror on the wall which i think was an impressive detail compared to the price. this hotel was cheaper than many hostels for a double bed ensuite! also, there was a closet for your clothes and a big window. close to leidseplein, but no noise!
