Description
The colourful 'The Times Hotel' is situated at the embankment of the beautiful Herengracht in Amsterdam. These, from 1650 dated monumental premises, have recently been renovated in such a way that the characteristics in bygone days have been well preserved.
Our 33 rooms are comfortable and colourfully furnished. All the rooms are foreseen with a double bed or twin-beds, toilet, shower and/or bath, telephone, ADSL connection, safe, air conditioning and LCD television.
The Herengracht lies in the centre of Amsterdam and gives you the possibility to visit within reach the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum, Concert Hall or one of the enjoyable Amsterdam’s shopping streets. The Anne Frank House, the Wester Tower and the Palace on the Dam are even within walking distance.

Decor of the hotel was very nice and fresh. the location was superb, situated in a lovely area and within easy walking distance of town centre and attractions.No hairdryer or other items provided to ease luggage load and breakfast was not included.Anonymous

I really appreciated how quiet and clean it was. i loved the bathroom and the bed was fantastic!!I really wasn't happy that there was only one english channel on the television. also, there seemed to be a problem with the telephone system at the time of my stay and made it a little frustrating to call out long distance.Anonymous

Nextdoor to a awesome coffee shop! clean room and bedding was nice. great staff.It was very loud in our room. it was like we could hear every water pipe or elevator sound or whatever it was but it was constant. maybe it was just a bad room (i think it was 273 1st floor at the top of the stairs to the left) Anonymous

I found the room we had and the public areas clean and bright, with modern fittings and the room had a good shower. the best thing about it is its location. The soundproofing isn't great. maybe its time to replace the red carpet in our room with something not so stained-but it was clean.Anonymous

The times hotel is a real gem, ideally situated to dip into the hotspots whenever you need them, yet far away enough to retreat when you need to put your feet up. for the traditional 'culture vultures' you have the canals,cafes and galleries of jordaan on your doorstep. whilst a couple of blocks in the opposite direction you have the coffee shops, bars and 'window shopping' opportunities that 'new' amsterdam has become so famous for. the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating!Anonymous
