Our canal view room was not available when we arrived so we were put in a basement room- you could hear every noise from the lobby. we were given a slight discount but it wasn't a great solution...

Yes when you as for the room to be cleaned it is not only the bins were emptied.

The walls were pretty thin and i could hear people from the other rooms. also, i could hear the plumbing and footsteps from other rooms.

Had booked a double bed but was given a twin with two seperate matresses and two single douvets

We booked a specific room online and it turned out we couldnt have that room, we didnt get any feedback on what we would be getting. the heating system was very poor bearing in mind it was -7 outside. there was a party in the hotel on new years eve, the hotel had palced all there surplus furniture outside our room which we had to fight our way past when we got in at 2am.

The hotel accepted that they had received the email booking but we were not in the reservation system as they had forgotten to include it. we were lucky that they still had a room.

In the add, you are giving a false information about the distance the hotel is, from the central statio. the room need some refurbishing. the price is too high for the quality

I felt not very welcome on arrival; carpets in room filthy; needs a good clean

No hairdryer or other items provided to ease luggage load and breakfast was not included.

I really wasn't happy that there was only one english channel on the television. also, there seemed to be a problem with the telephone system at the time of my stay and made it a little frustrating to call out long distance.
