The Toren, a Classic, Romantic, Design Hotel is situated on the Keizersgracht in the centre of Amsterdam. Overlooked by the famous Westertoren, it is located in a district that offers plenty of beautiful and interesting places to see and discover. The convivial and picturesque Jordaan district lies a stone’s throw away, as does the impressive Anne Frank Huis. Within less than a 5-minute walk lie the Dam square with its Royal Palace, the National Monument, shopping mall Magna Plaza, the Bijenkorf department store, the Berlage Exchange, and, a little further away, the infamous Red Light district. There are plenty of trams that will take you in no time to the Concertgebouw, the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and Amsterdam’s most luxurious shopping street: P.C. Hooftstraat.
How to reach the Boutique Hotel The Toren?How to reach the hotel from the airport:
by taxi: Costs for a single fare are EURO 35.00. Costs from Central Station are about EURO 9.00.
By car: Follow the ring around Amsterdam. Get off at exit number S105. Follow the signs "Centrum". At a certain moment you will drive on the "Rozengracht", which is a busy street with a tram. You should pass the Westerchurch and directly after this church go Left on to the Keizersgracht. You will find the hotel on the 2nd block and you can recognize us by the green sunshades above the door.
By public transport:
1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take tram: 4 , 24 and 25 from the square in front of the station to the Dam. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 6 min. You can also take tram nrs. 13,17 or 20 to stop 'Westerkerk'. The trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.
