Cons: The hotel itself is a hostel and it was expensive for this kind of acomodation. the place is very old and not very clean.
Cons: I was not told that there was no lift and that the stairs were so steep. therefore, i needed help in order to carry my bagage to the room. the reception area is tiny and not really nice. it looked messy because there was an old sofa covered with lots of plastic bags. the first guy i found working in the reception was not polite. he made a stupid joke saying "well, how can you expect more, this is not a 5 star hotel". i've been in nice hostels before so of course i can expect more!
Cons: The only negative was the private shower in our room wasn't very clean; hair in the drain etc but the group showers were cleaned twice a day and were extremely clean so we used these instead but that is the only bad thing i have to say! other than the church bell going off quite early in the morning but this cannot be helped on the hotel's side so would recommend the white tulip hotel completely.
Cons: There was no mention that i, a 20 year old female, would be sharing rooms with men upwards of 35 years old. it made the experience rather uncomfortable. it was also extremely loud, and even though it was technically a no smoking facility, everything smelled like weed.
Cons: Very loud, if you are a light sleeper you may need ear plugs. there is a church nearby that rings it's bells, it seems like every 15 minutes. jerks. lol
Cons: I did not feel comfortable in such a big room with so many unknown individuals. would certainly go private in future.
