The apartment was big and would have been excellent if it had been cleaned properly. i would go back to this hotel just for the space and location.
When we got there are apartment wasnt ready and had to wait another hour. when we went into the apartment a few doors away from the hotel we were hit by the most horrible smell of something like sewerage. the apartment needed updating the mattress was discussing and they put a single bed sheet on a double. there were pan lids but no pans no cuttlery the kettle was dodgy and the tubes in the tv had gone.

The lady on reception was very nice and very helpful and the fact that breakfast was included was good.
The hotel was very dirty and i wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone. our room was disgusting, very dirty and stains all over the carpet so much so that we wouldn't or couldn't put our feet on it and constantly wore flip flops. there were no toiletries not evern a bar of soap and although the price was ok, we could have got a bed and breakfast room for the same price. the light was very dim and the bulb didn't work in the bedside lamp. what should have been my 40th birthday celebration was spoiled by a very dirty hotel.

The location was perfect and the apartment large. in our apartment the bed was very large and we had a tv.
We booked two apartments as there was 6 of us. the one apartment had mouse droppings or pellets we couldn't tell as they were in a dark corner. the beds in this apartment were on the floor so the girls wouldn't stay, we asked for an alternative but they didn't have one. they booked another hotel then the thorbecke wanted to charge for one night!!!!! our room had damp celing and walls, curtains were hanging of the rods and dirty. the shower was broke and the hallway smelt like weeks old of dirty rubbish.

58 steps at 60 degree angle to room over bar opened 10 pm till 5 am. have to keep windows open or too hot; very small room; very loud at night outside so had to sleep with earplugs

I was looking for a place close to everything and this was perfect for that. plenty going on all around!
Place is a bit run down. tv didn't work and if you close the main room door you'll need someone to open it from the other side because the door handle is broke.

The staff speaks english and is willing to rearrange my room to make it more comfortable for me.
Hard to get up to the second floor on the very steep stairways (with luggages). it is definitely not for people with physical limitations.
