By car you can reach the hotel easily via the A9 (exit S113). When you are travelling by public transport, take subway 53 towards Gaasperplas and get off at the end stop. From here it is a 10 minutes walk to the hotel.

By public transport:
1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: Take subway 53 towards Gaasperplas and get off at station Gaasperplas, the end stop. From here it is a 10 minutes walk to the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be staying again possibly in september. the location is excellent as there is parking available. the metro is nearby.Anonymous

Great friendly service . the staff were more than helpful , cheerful and very willing to contribute information despite our seemingly endless questions .There was just the 1 .we ordered room service dinner and it consisted of 4 burgers and chips . we had drinks and wine for myself and my wife . the problem was the meal was wrapped with foil to keep them warm but had cucumber all over the meal .there was no mention that this vegetable would be used in the meal and this meant i was unable to eat any of the meal i had ordered . i am very alergic to cucumber and so the meal had to be thrown away . i think it would be good to inform customers that cucumber would be used in the meal. the use of foil to seal the meal on the plate meant that even the chips were now unable to be eaten as the cucumber had been sealed in with the rest of the food ruining it all for me . i dont complain about this as it does happpen from time to time and i usually request no cucumber with my meals but i havent had cucumber in a simple burger and chips before and so didnt think to ask for it not to be used . other than that it was a real pleasure to stay at your establishment .

Restaurant services were perfect !
1) location not good as very far from station especially with luggage as such can not be classified as easy access to station. there should be signboards showing clearly right from the station instead of the poor travellers asking around.
dangerous district especially at night as compared to other parts of netherlands in metros nearby.
2) reception ladies are not as polite as the reception guys there. but they are always busy. they need to keep up with good or better work otherwise the location will not be able to attract customers. Clive

Pleasant/helpful reception staff, good quality food, roomy, better value than other hotels.Needs directions from metro station as tricky to find.(out of station turn left walk through park to main road keep going for 5 mins or so)
took long time for food to arrive in restaurant - limited choice for vegetarians. couldn't turn heating on except when weather rather cold.Anonymous

The room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. the free parking was also highly appreciated.If we didn't have a car, it would have been difficult for us to enjoy amsterdam from the tulip inn. with a car, it was no problem at all.mr paul sheehan

Very clean roomsThey tried to overcharge us. they were not able to provide an extra pillow. they didn't clean our room on the second day and we had to wait until after midnight for clean towels. there was no food available after 10pm. there was no tea/cofffee-making facilities in the rooms. breakfast was over-priced. the rooms at the front of the hotel are overlooking a very busy, noisy road and we had to ask to be moved.Anonymous

We had a great time, but when we arrived we were told you did not have the room i booked, but were immediately upgraded to a suite so this was great.I was under the impression that the hotel was situated near the airport, so we had to pay €30 from central amsterdam to get to the hotel, would suggest on booking you give a map t the hotel advising how people could get to you cheaper by using the metro (as a first time visitor to amsterdam, we did not know how far the hotel was from the airport and the central, this would not have put us off if we had been advised of the metro being so close)Anonymous

Good clean rooms, very well laid out.My hotel key did not work and i was locked out of my room. at 1.30am i was transferred to another hotel. the next day, the room was opened and i was late for the conference. the hotel paid all the transfers and the cost of the other hotel, which was good. they were also very apologetic about the whole experience.Anonymous
