 "Good hotel, but too cold and noisy"
This Hotel is located about 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the city.We had only booked a basic double room which was very large and clean (except for a few stains on the carpet).In general both the hotel and the surrounding area were clean and well kept.The breakfast was very extensive and tasty.Now, however, the negative aspects: the room was quite cold and the windows slightly leaking. It was possible to adjust the temperature of the heating, but the temperature was then reduced automatically.We also had the bad luck that there was a building site next to the hotel and we were woken up at 7 by construction noise.Overall, the hotel is very good, but the cold and the construction noise should be mentioned negatively.

 ""Value for money""
The hotel is new and well appointed, the breakfast is plentiful with even the morning waffles freshly made at the time. The only ones in the distance from the center (it takes about 30-35minuti by tram), and cleanliness is not quite perfect because of the towels I found some spots ... In any case, I recommend it for the price and very beneficial for the courtesy of the staff.

 "Average hotel with value for money"
Room was pretty big in size but major issue was the service quality...Heater of the room was not working for 3 days...nobody was ready to listen and fix it.....nobody picks the phone at reception..went down 6 floors to do the complain and still nobody turned up to fix it thats was frustrating

 "Was a good hotel"
Great hotel a way out the way 30 euro taxi from main Amsterdam. Only fault have to say is having my iPhone charger and headset stolen and hotel night staff and day staff not communicating only having one of are iteam in there safe.

 "My stay in Remco Hotel"
I came to Amsterdam for the business meeting in RAI Amsterdam Center aned I stayed at Remco for 4 nights. The Hotel service was very good but I had a chance to talk the persons at the front desk. They were very gentle and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and I can,t complain on anything. The only disadvantage was the Hotel Remco location from RAI Center which was little bit too far from the Center. However, we can,t do much about that. Thank you for the cooperation Best regardsThomas

 "nothing special"
i never write reviews about anything, but this time i feel that the reviews written for this hotel mislead me a bit, the hotel it self looks like a student campus so you do not feel like you're in a hotel. there were a few problems with our room. first of all, there was no soap or had wash to wash our hands with, we were not given anything in the bathroom except for toilet paper, you literally walk in the bathroom and there is nothing there, although there are empty hand wash containers.then the wifi is very bad you will not get a good connection in this hotel, we also had a problem with the water not going down the drain properly it took for ever to clear, we reported this to reception they said that they will send someone up, and of course that didn't happen.the other thing is the location of the hotel, if you are planning on going to dam square then it will take you about 45 min to get there, it was very inconvenient for us, if you wanna have a rest to then go out at night it will be a bit restricting. i do not recommend this hotel and i will not be going back there again, but amsterdam is beautiful.

 "Cycling visit"
Hotel is not in centre of Amsterdam but is in a nice neighbourhood and is in easy cycling (once you know the routes) or public transport distance into the centre. It is a basic 'business' type hotel on a basic style. The staff were friendly and when asked questions helpful and the room was kept clean. Furniture etc was functional and simple but adequate. The local area has some good restaurants and a good bakery. The only real problem is finding the hotel so make sure you take a good map and try to google beforehand.

 "We had a pleasant stay..."
Being a short tram ride away from the city center it was nice for someone who wants a decent sleep and a bit of peace and quiet after a long day trawling around the Dam! Despite not taking advantage of the food available, they small garden area through the restraunt which had a lovely little sitting area, great for relaxing in. The staff were all very polite and welcoming. Our room was always fresh and clean when we returned for the evening. Although house keeping once knocked on at around 08.30 one morning which I considered to be much to early; an unnecessary distraction from sleep. I would certainly recommend this hotel to family's, couples and businesspersons alike.

 "Good, but something to improve"
Although the hotel a little far from Amsterdam center, it's easy to get bus or tram to the nearest train station and ti's a good price to live in such a hotel. However, the reception is too slow. We wait a long time for check in. The room light is dim. There should be a light on the ceiling.

 "Overnight"
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The only issues I had was with locating the hotel from the tramp station. I had to walk up and down the man road for close to an hour before I finally located the hotel.Location I would say is of a personal choice. It's far away from the heart of Amsterdam, which foursome people would be good and for soe others bad.The hotel I must confess was very clean, the reception was also very warm. The bar was perfect not too crowded, I could sit down have a beer and watch a football match.Generally speaking, I enjoyed my stay and would revisit when I have the opportunity.

 "Good location"
The hotel is in a good and quiet location. Good transport connection to city centre and bus connection to Schipol airport. Service is good, there are restaurants just a walk from the hotel. We did not want to eat in the hotel because we wanted to exploit restaurants around the area. Friendly staff and knowledgeable.

The hotel is nice by itself, a little difficult to find at first. Price-quality is good. The only disadvantage is the location. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the centre by tram.

 "A good experience"
Remco hotel is a decent place to stay in,it's a calm and quiet residential area, a bit far from the nearest tram stop for my liking, but the superstore, reaturants and takeaways are nearby. Hotel is also covers by night busses which is a bonus. Overall a good peaceful place to stay, only if you can get a good deal, it was a bit expensive for us as we went in the peak season but I am sure the price will go down during off peak season.

 "Friendly, helpful staff. Great Location."
Personally, I love the location. The hotel is situated in the City West suburbs, about 30 mins door to door to the Centraal. This was not my first stay at the Remco. The reception staff have always been extremely helpful and obliging, regardless of the request. Gil gave me a warm welcome, even though I had arrived much later than expected. Other reception staff were just as friendly when I needed help with various issues. The room was big and clean and I had a great view from the 6th floor. The Hotel is situated just around the corner from the Slotter Park, makes you feel you are in the heart of the Dutch countryside. I am looking forward to my next trip.
