At the corner, guests can find themselves at the Heineken Brewery where they can experience the brewing process as well as enjoy a complimentary gift and drinks. Should a museum, be of interest, it will only be a 5-minute walk to the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh museum. In 5 minutes walking distance across the street you can find yourself in the middle of the exciting nightlife at Leidse Square which stands guaranteed for entertainment, dining, shopping, cinemas, nightclubs and Europe's greatest casino. Also the historic city centre and its canals are situated in the hotel's surroundings.

The area has many exotic restaurants including; authentic Mediterranean, Eastern and Japanese restaurants, to name a few, as well as typical Amsterdam pubs and coffee shops located on almost every corner. Around the corner you can find the Amsterdam Albert Cuyp market which sells everything from furniture, to Dutch food delicacies, to clothing and many more.

How to reach the Vivaldi Hotel? How to reach the Vivaldi Hotel?

1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM. The costs are approximately EUR 3,00 per person (single fare) and the travelling time is approximately 20 minutes (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram n. 16, 24 or 25 from the square in front of the station to stop 'Weteringschans' and cross the bridge. Then go to the right and you will find the hotel on your left hand side. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

The front desk staff were very helpful
The twin rooms are small, 2 singles pushed together, in both rooms the tv did not work, in the first room which they changed had holes in walls etc

Personnel was very helpful and friendly. the room was clean although a little bit small. the room rate was pretty low and the location was very convenient (metro was one block away that takes you directly to champs elysees within 20 min).

I booked this triple room for our three friends who came from japan in the evening and left to bulgaria next day. after breakfast.they left with a good impression and will recommend your online booking service.

The check-in procedure was late, which made my boss uneasy. our delegation included 6 people (in 4 rooms) but we were arranged in two separate buildings, one building without elevator. how could i (a lady) manage with my heavy luggages without elevator while i was arranged to stay at the 3rd floor? it was a terrible experience.

Nuestra experiencia en el hotel fue terrible, ya desde que llegamos no enviaron a otro hotel que esta 50mts del otro y por cualquier cosa que pasara teniamos que ir hasta el otro. la segunda noche escuchamos ruidos toda la noche hasta que encontramos que habia un raton en la habitacion, tuvimos que salir en plena madrugada bajo la lluvia hasta la recepcion, donde nos miraron con cara de "que""" y no nos cambiaron la haitacion porque supuestamente no tenian. al dia siguiente hablamos con la encargada y nos dijo que si queriamos cancelaramos la reserva y nos devolvian el dinero de las nohes restantes pero no de la anterior, y como no encontramos ningun otro hotel aceptamos nos cambiaran de habitacion pero nos advirtieron que seguramente habria mas ratas ya que habia en todo el hotel porque el gato habia desaparecido"""""" asique imaginense como fue nuestra estancia alli

There was a dead pigeon outside the window we had to remove ourself. the beds were not properly made and prepared and we had to inquire for sheets. it seems the hotel has a problem with mold, as the entire hotel had a quite charactaristic smell of mold.
