"easytobook.com did not reserve the room"

I have stayed at the NH Atlanta before and it is pleasant. However, when I arrived at the hotel I was told they did not have a reservation. Fortunately I had printed out the easy to book confirmation email, and they found me a room. They photocopied my email, as I wanted to keep it to make sure I got the correct rate on check out (which was discounted). Needless to say, when I checked out I was charged the full rate. I explained the problems at check in, and had to make quite a fuss to pay the rate I had been quoted. The reception staff did not have a copy of the email, and treated my like I was trying to pull a fast one. I think the experience has put me off this hotel, and I will not use easytobook.com again. I have emailed them since my return, but have had no reply.The NH Atlanta, apart from my difficulties, is a reasonable hotel in a good position for central Rotterdam. Some of the rooms have been upgraded, but I find the styling not as comfortable as their old fashioned carpeted rooms.

NH Atlanta Rotterdam is suitable to host any kind of event, from business meetings to receptions to parties. Four of the five meeting rooms boast their original features, thus creating a unique 30’s atmosphere. The hotel furthermore offers the ‘Daktuin’ on the seventh floor. From this roof terrace you can admire a magnificent view of the city.

The 4-star NH Atlanta hotel in Rotterdam is one of the few monumental buildings remaining in Rotterdam. It boasts an authentic ambiance, thanks to its marble floors, Art Deco elements and chandeliers.
