The check in process was very easy and simple, staff were helpful and attentive, rooms although on the small side were clean and comfortable. staff from check in to the porters were very helpful and friendly, only comment i can make is i would have liked a coffee machine in the room. location is excellent for times square and the theater district. From the moment we arrived until the time we left we were treated with very friendly service. peter, who brought us to our room, was outstanding in his knowledge and consideration and friendliness. the hotel is very close to times square and 5th avenue. our room had a brand new 32 inch flat screen tv mounted on the wall. we had a great time and would give thumbs-up to the algonquin.sam foster

The hotel was well situated within easy reach of everything we were looking for. the staff were very friendly and helpful. (apart from 1 receptionist)The room was a little small but we spent very little time there it was not a rela problem
