We were very impressed with the size and comfort of the rooms, especially in new york. it exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect for our four days visiting new york city.
The front desk was not helpful at all. there was no information regarding the use of the television set/stations in the room and they were no help at all. the restaurant was under new management and has a ways to go to compete with surrounding restaurants. service was good, but even though there was no one else in the dining room one order was not as written up on the menu.

When leaving one of the guys helped us put the luggage in the taxi and organise a taxi for us.
Elevators took too long. first room we had was a non smoking room as soon as you get to lvl14 it smells disgusting (smoke and of old carpet) heater was not working, toilets were easily clogged, got rashes from the bed (dirty, bedbugs) was then moved to lvl 19 bigger room, bathroom, again heater was not working and had to call plumber to unblock the toilet. when asked for assistance to help to take our luggage downstairs concierge had said they do not help you bring your luggages down you have to do it yourself. we had 6 luggages plus 4 handcarries can you imagine how long it took to bring all of them down especially with a long delay with the elevator. what kind of service is that esp. staying at a ny hotel??? we had stayed at other hotels and they where more than happy to help and just a phone call away. they can help you take your luggages upstairs but not downstairs??? i booked this hotel because it was close to everything, and had a 72hr discount. once i booked it i read all the reviews and they pretty much sumed what i had mentioned but it was too late for me to cancel. next time i visit ny i will definately not come back and highly not recomend anyone to stay here. i will pay that extra to get the customer service and better facilities....and not to mention my phone bill. was clearly told if call was under 30minutes it was free of charge after 30minutes i get charge. i received my phone bill only to relise i was billed the second i got connected.

Wonderful hotel! in fact, i have stayed in nyc several times and the rooms are often small. the rooms here are spacious and wonderfully appointed.
