How to reach the La Quinta Manhattan?By public transport, from JFK Airport: Take the Airtrain to Jamaica Station. This drops you off right at the Jamaica Station on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). From Jamaica Station, take the Blue metro line E and after a few stops change to Yellow metro line R at 71-Continental Aves and get off at the stop 34th Street- Herald Square Station. The hotel is approximately 10-minutes walking distance from the metro stop.

Nice and claan room in the korea street between broudway and 5th avenue, nearby the empire state building and several subway lines. good service.
It is nog allowed to open the windows in your room
at breakfast the cutlery, cups and plates are all plastic. difficult to smear your bread and bagels! Anonymous

breakfast included.
good bedding.Much noise from air co equipments around the hotel.
heating/air co system in room very noisy.
kitchen smells from restaurant next door in entrance hall.

The location is perfect to access great spots in new york.It was very hard to get a non smoking room. i was forced to be in a smoking room at the first day, the smell was terrible, i could not sleep.Anonymous

Location was excellent.Rooms were small and badly designed.bathroom was a closet.i viewed 3 different rooms all were small ,with little natural light and noisy air con units.i was very disappointed in this and then to cap it all the first night the air con was not working and the room was like an ice box as it was -6 outside.the remote was not working and hat to be replaced.we were at back of building in a dingy room with little light and no room to swing a cat.i thought by upgrading from queen size to king size ,the room would be bigger.not so, just bigger bed in smaller room! The air-conditioning worked well. having breakfast included is very convenientThe rooms were very small and not sound-proof. we could here people slamming doors all night. the elevators were extremely slow. some of the front-desk staff were rude and not very helpful. there are better hotels closer to times square for about the same price. be warned...taxes are not included in the quoted price from this website - even when it says they are!!!
