The room was very comfortable, lovely, staff was attentive, and it was incredibly relaxing.

Excellent hotel. spotlessly clean. couldn't fault a thing. location was perfect - a couple of blocks from bloomingdales and park avenue! deluxe room was very spacious with kitchen and walk-in closet. would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back and stay at the lombardy again!

All the staff are extremely friendly, and the rooms are of an excellent size, and always cleaned thoroughly each day. the location is excellent, approx a 10 - 15 min walk to times square and the excellent macys.
I dont think that the breakfast was particularly good - basic toast, which you had to cook yourself, and a muffin, and self service tea and coffee in polystrene cups. i bit more vairety would have been much better.

Staying at the lombardy hotel was part of making our trip a wonderful experience. the lombardy has an excellent location. it is a central, classy and fairly quiet area. there are numerous sights within walking distance and bloomingdales is just around the corner, there are an abundance of great restaurants. it feels safe to walk the area at night time and secure to stay in the hotel. the rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. when i go back to new york, i will definitely stay at the lombardy again.
The complementary continental breakfast only consists of muffins, toast & jam/honey, tea/coffee, everyone who came in said 'is this it?' would be nice to have tea/coffee and a kettle in the kitchen area of the rooms.

Rooms are extremely spacious and cleaned daily. breakfast (although basic) was included which is unusual for a hotel in new york. reception staff and doormen very friendly and helpful
Only negative is the tax added onto the overall bill which we are not used to in the uk

Staff do not give out all info you have to keep asking them the breakfast included in the rate was really very poor almost like a back packers breakfast when your staying in a 4 star hotel it was very disapointing

The bed was comfortable.
Hotel had wrong checkout date, subsequently had to wait to be sure another room was free for the duration of our stay. booked room for two only one cup in room (took three requests to get second cup. two coffe machines in room no coffee or other refreshments? flaked paint from window not cleared during our six day stay. toilet leaked when flushed, previous attempts to repair had obviously not worked. i have stayed in hotels from singapore to alaska and this comes well below the usual standards i have become used to. for the price i would have expected better.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. the kingsize bed was extremely comfortable.
The air conditioning in out room did not work properly and made a great deal of noise. the printer in the internet room had run out of toner, so i was unable to print out my boarding pass for my return trip.

This is a wonderful, small, "boutique" type hotel in a perfect location in mid town manhattan. luxury room, large and well appointed. amenities and a staff that is accessible and helpful. the lombardy is a real "find" and a value relative to n.y. hotel prices. we would certainly stay there again.
No. there are always little things that aren't perfect, but if one dwells on them they miss the whole point of a great little hotel.

Staff was delightful. they gave me an upgrade upon arrival to a suite and after i returned home i realized i had lost an earring in the room. i called the hotel and they sent someone to the room immediately, found it and had it waiting for me at the desk to pick up later in the day. two years ago i lost an item in another hotel and though i called immediately no one "found it". the lombardy is a terrrifc hotel with lovely people and amazing suites.
