The new york inn is located in a fabulous position, 1 block from broadway and the center of times square. it is an old building so is not sparkling clean with respect to floors and washrooms, but bedding and towels were always clean and fresh. a fantastic value for an average of $95 per night - more expensive on the weekend but cheaper monday to thursday. staff was unfailingly polite and helpful. not a hotel for everyone, but for those who are on a budget and don't expect the frills, especially if you are an outdoors person of any age (no elevator but a 5 floor hotel) and can rough it the ny inn is wonderful.
Nothng. thanks for including this hotel on the easy web site. could you please remove me from your web site advertising - we will not be travelling and staying in hotels in the future since our next holiday will be camping in a van. thank you.

Breakfast is at subway's next door: bagel w/egg, coffee or hot chocolate (from a packet) and a subway cookie of your choice! they had an awesome plasma screen tv with tons of cable channels!
The batroom was soooo tight! the handle for the shower was faulty and hard to use. all stairs, no elevators, but someone can help with your bags.

The employees were certainly not of "four seasons" standards but they were helpful none the less. the room, perfect for those who only want a place to sleep and change clothes. tiny room (cramped with more than one large bag). only good for one or lovers. fair price for the location. highly recommended for students, party-goers, and unfussy travelers.
The showers weren't the greatest. do not leave without your shower shoes or else you'll end up looking to buy them.

The breakfast was included in the price! although it was from subway nest door, but it wasn't as good as i thought a subway breakfast would be. the guy at the counter was quite polite and helpful.
The whole place is just horrible! no elevator, narrow and falling apart stairs, me and my friend had difficult time to move our lugage upstairs. the room was small which i don't really mind, but it's dark and dim, and over decorated. who needs giant tv and heavy old curtains in a room that's only big enough for the a double bed and a bathroom, not to mention the bed is going to fall apart soon. it's november, and the temperature inside and out doesn't show much difference. lucky for us it was just one night! i cant't imagine staying there longer than one night (i didn't even wanted to stay there at all if not the charges that i need to pay for last minute cancelation)
