Hotel Riverside Studio is ideally located in one of New York's luxurious residential area. It is only a couple of blocks from Broadway next to Trump Towers new buildings and walking distance to the two magnificent parks, Central Park and Riverside Park and Lincoln Centre.
You can easily reach the Subway station and Bus stops from the hotel, both are two blocks from the hotel. On top of that you can be in only 5-minutes at the Time Square with the Subway.
How to reach the Hotel Riverside Studios?By public transport, from JFK Airport: Take the free quick and easy Airtrain to Jamaica Station. This drops you off right at the "Jamaica" Station on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR).
By public transport, from Jamaica Station: Take the Blue metro line E and after a few stops change to the Yellow metro line R Continental Aves, get off at the Times Square Station 42nd St and change to Red metro line 1,2 or 3 and get off at 72nd St Station. The hotel is approximately 10-minutes walking distance from the metro stop.

I booked a single room; it was clean, warm, and quiet -- everything i needed.
I booked for two nights, fri. & sat. thurs. a. m. i telephoned to cancel the fri. reservation, leaving a message when there was no answer on the line. the message was neglected; when i arrived on sat. i was provided with a good room but i had been noted down as a "no show" for fri. neither the desk clerk when i arrived nor the clerk when i checked out was willing to cancel the charge for friday's room. i was given contact information for the manager, but i have not yet followed through.Anonymous

The staff were friendlyWe shared one bathroom with the entire floor because the other bathroom was clogged. this was only a problem when the bathroom was occupied.Anonymous

Great neighborhood, extremely reasonable price.We knew the room would have a shared bath, but normally there is a sink in our room. this time there was not. no big deal, but it's nice to have it.Anonymous

The hotel is in an excellent and convenient location and the rates are much better than most other rates in the area. i definitely will return there my next trip.Not having a private bath was a negative; but because of the location and price, it was acceptable. the hotel is in a "run down" condition, but if it were renovated, the prices would have to be increased. i did see one roach and one mouse, but i didn't scream! :-)Andersen

The room was clean it served its purpose if u jus need a place to sleep we asked for another room later into our stay and they changed it with no problems or extra charges. bring your own sheets!!!! whenever i need the bathroom it was always avaliable they keot it clean. i read other ppls comments b4 i came an i was a little skeptical but when i arrived it was actually better then i thought. I didnt experiance any bed bugs but my friends did get bits i brought my own sheets! Anonymous
