Hotel was great, no complaints
Only thing was our booking was supposed to include breakfast but when we checked in the hotel said our booking did not include breakfast. dont think this is the hotels fault though.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. i was warned how small nyc hotel rooms were before i went, yet i was pleasantly surprised how large my room was at the skyline. larger than any hotel room i've ever had. the a/c broke during one night and they had it fixed the very next day. friendly concierge.
Disappointing that there isn't free internet. parking isn't free either, but $10 per day isn't too bad.

The proximity to the theatre district and the metropolitan opera, our destination, was good. the met would have been walkable, but because of the rain, we decided to take the short cab ride instead. the room was fine for the price. included was a nice tv, hairdryer, tastefully decorated bathroom, and refrigerator.
The room's climate control seemed only to operate on heat, and not on cool. when the maintenance person came, he turned off the heat; then it only operated on cool. though the dial seemed to indicate that it should be able to do both, the hotel staff informed us differently. this seemed rather inconvenient, but we ended up not needing heat anyway. upon checkout, the parking attendant informed us that we still owed $10 for parking, even though we had already paid the $10/night parking included with our room. it seems that our small suv was considered an oversized vehicle. not sure why. we were not aware that there would be an additional charge, even though it was still a bargain for nyc. i somehow missed it on the hotel website, and it wasn't stated on the easytobook site. the hotel had posted a small sign, near the entrance, but by that time, even if i had seen the sign, our car was gone down the ramp, not to be seen until checkout the next day. the front desk staff seemed rather curt and not very friendly or welcoming. easytobook also claimed that there was a breakfast included with the hotel. more correctly, a pricey breakfast buffet ($32 for two, including tax and tip) was available.

The pool had a beutiful view,the staff were helpful.
There was no information pack in the room so i didnt know the nnumber of the front desk,meal times or where the pool was or what facilities were provided by the hotel.
