Being asked for a 90 dollar deposit upon paying when we arrived...incase we what?????? not impressed by this. also we booked transport to jfk airport through the hotel but the shuttlebus failed to arrive, we were sent by taxi and the hotel did pay.waters

Excellent location within easy walking-with-rolling-luggage distance of penn station. subway at end of block, buses very near. front desk helpful. liked free breakfast and newspaper. liked luggage storage service. Sofa in hotel room #1115 sagged very, very badly. i put loose cushions under seat cushions and the sofa was useable, but sofa should be repaired. Anonymous

Very clean room, very quiet
appreciated the fresh water in the fridge
appreciated to be able to leave my luggage without paying more with the bell boy
Toilets a bit slow to flush
i like to have an electric kettle for hot water, to make instant tea or coffee

Staff were helpful and pleasant. located in the midst of good asian restaurants, many other eateries, and low-cost shopping. far from major cultural sites, but easy access to mass transportation. Room looked out on a brick wall; the single elevator was very slow during peak hours. a complimentary breakfast of bagels and pastries was supplied, but not toaster, jam, or cereal.Butler
