Opened in 1930, The Belvedere Hotel includes Art Deco touches in a marble lobby and on its facade. Just off the lobby, a popular, independently operated Brazilian restaurant offers rodizio-style dining (grilled meats sliced at the table) and a Brazilian band Tuesday–Saturday nights. An Art Deco café serves buffet, à la carte, and Continental breakfasts daily. Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is available throughout the hotel. Two blocks from the hotel, Restaurant Row on West 46th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues features some 20 restaurants. Most offer fixed-price pre-theater menus.
