Arrived and was told that the hotel was overbooked, and that they needed to send me to their "sister" hotel on the upper east side. this was not an option as my work site was 2 blocks away, which is why i chose this hotel location. i had to insist that they let me stay there, and it took 30 minutes of negotiation, and the desk clerk calling various managers, in order for them to accommodate me. the room, elevators and hallways were the smallest i've experienced in the us, and the air conditioner in the room was terribly noisy. the closet was so dark that i didn't use it because i knew i'd end up losing something in there. the only thing in this hotel that lived up to its star rating on your site, was the soap.Ainley

my mum and i loved mansfield hotel, you are in a prime location and acessible to every where we wanted to go in new york. hotel was very clean and comfortable (can i take the bed back home to australia?) hotel staff friendly all the time. 2 blocks walk away from times square..... locantion location!Whelan

We loved the mansfield! the hotel staff was knowledgeable and friendly, our room and ensuite were beautiful, and the hotel location couldn't be better! we also feel as though we received good value for our money so, all in all, it was a very positive experience.Anonymous
