How to reach the Vincci Avalon?By public transport, from JFK Airport: Take the free quick and easy Airtrain to Jamaica Station. This drops you off right at the "Jamaica" Station on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). From Jamaica Station, take the Blue metro line E, V and get off at Lexington-3 Aves, 51 St. change to green line 6 to Downtown ang get off at 33 St. The hotel is approximately 10-minutes walking distance from the metro stop.

excellent location, 1 minutes walk from empire state building, 5min walk from macys, 15min walk from times square.
large fridge in room for personal use, as well as a minibar fridge.Some noise from the city at night (sirens), but to be expected in a big city.
no noise from other rooms/guests.

room size was excellent for new york hotel - this was my 5th trip to new york and definately one of the best hotels i have stayed in for size, location, costI was told on check in that my booking was only for two and not three although i had booking confirmation that i booked a family room - i did put into the internet search 3 adults and went witht he choice they gave me. i was giving the room ok but and the staff were very helpful - i just hope they do not charge me any extra to my card.

We stayed in a huge room that had 2 queen sized beds - i've never stayed in such a spacious room in new york. the hotel's location was perfect for our visit - just a short walk to the subway if you know your way around the city & right on the door step of the empire state building/grayline sightseeing buses for people who maybe haven't visited before.The only (very minor) things were that the decor looked a little tired & the lock on the room door stuck a couple of times, but the reception staff helped immediately.Anonymous
