Auckland Airport is New Zealand’s largest airport, funnelling over 12 million passengers through its terminals. The airport serves as Air New Zealand’s main hub, and handles an estimated 70% of all international travellers arriving in the country. The Auckland Airport has it’s roots in the late 1920s, when a local aeronautics club leased a patch of land from a local dairy farm to take off and land in the three club-owned planes.
