 "The hostel has great facilities, our room was clean and we had our own..."
Pros: The hostel has great facilities, our room was clean and we had our own kitchen (tiny but good) and bathroom. it's also in a good area. all in all a very good hostel which i would highly recommend to anyone going to oslo. the tram stops right outside which is also good.
Cons: There isn't a lot of space or many opportunities for socialising or meeting fellow travellers which i felt was a little disappointing. it is also very annoying that you have to leave a deposit to hire out kitchen equipment each time you want to cook! i think it would be better if you could hire it for your whole stay and leave it back when you check out.

Cons: Reception not much help, well the person we had on duty anyway. no wifi or internet throughout our entire stay, although advertised as having it. room was not the cleanest upon arrival, rubbish from last guests still in bin and floor dirty in bathroom. borrowed cooking gear all oily and unclean. not the nicest part of town, especially arriving at night. false fire alarm went off in the early hours of the morning.
