If you happen to be staying at one of the many hotels in Stavanger, you can benefit from a 20 minute ferry ride to the Flor og Fjære, a fantastic garden paradise that draws thousands of tourists every year. Aside from being a beautiful piece of Norway, the garden is even more relaxing because of the fine customer service offered here. It is important to those who run the attraction to find a guide who speaks your language, and the food service is excellent, with food of the best quality prepared to perfection and a chef who will greet guests and explain dishes.

The Flor og Fjære is located on the northern corner of a Norwegian island just off Stavanger and is reached by a catamaran or ferry. The ride over is quite scenic itself, but upon arrival, you are suddenly in a land of breathtaking greenery and bright floral displays, including such tropical influences as palm trees or citrus fruit trees, which are certainly not native to the area.
