Taking you high above the town of Boquete, the Bajo Mono Loop is a recently asphalted road which circles the mountain which Boquete sits on the face of. From here you'll get to take in the beautiful scenery provided by the rainforest and the quaint Boquete town. To start on this loop, take the main road just past the church, then head left at the fork in the road. You will pass Cafe Ruiz, and then from there, stay to the left. Eventually, you will see the sign reading "Bajo Mono". Make sure to make note of the area as you drive high above it, as the road actually serves a practical purpose in that it allows you to get your bearings and get a sense of the area, as such, making it much easier to keep track of where you are and avoid getting lost.

There is no admission fee to enter and drive around the Bajo Mono Loop, but the narrow road might make it somewhat infeasible for certain larger vehicles to make the trip safely.
