For the price we paid we would not expect much more. the staff was nice and helpful. the location of hotel is not far from gare du nord which makes it easy to get there.
The room was not the cleanest and its size does not correspond with the one in the picture-it is smaller :(Anonymous

Very close to east rail station (around the corner)
nice and quiet at night although the neighborhood is rated as bad - i didn't feel that at all
the rooms where not as small as you find usually in small and cheap hotels in paris

Most of the stuff was nice and helpfull.
not far from central gare du nord, close to market and bank.
big towels, large restroom, room is okay.
Some of the stuff was rude an unpleasent.

Good location. close to city center attractions. the hotel cleaning staff were good. Management have a terrible attitude to dealing with customer complaints. we were alloted a room whose only window opened out onto a corridor. we were unhappy with the security aspect of this and the noise on the first night of our stay. the rooms are advertised as soundproof-this is not true. after several attempts to get our complaints taken seriously we were finally given another room which was secure and on the top floor so was quiet. The room was very nice for our family of four. it was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. very good value for the price.Not in the most desirable location. a much better walk from gare du l'est than from gare du nord.Anonymous

It was close to the nord railway and the metro.The was mold in the 2 bathrooms and the refrigerators did not work and out of the two rooms one tv remote worked even though mangement was advised.Anonymous

Excellent location. a good, clean, basic hotel, perfect for the traveller who wants no frills, just a reliable place to stay. The staff were vey helpful, but we never did get the plug for the wash-basin that we asked for.
