The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. the room had the cot in it, set up when we arrived. the rooms were renovated with a great bathroom that had a shower better than ours at home. everything was clean and the rooms were quiet. it was close to a metro stop and about a 20 minute walk to the eiffel tower. there was also free wifi in every room.No.Anonymous

Walkable distance to eiffel tower and river seine. from there paris was your oyster! stating that hotel was 10 min walk from eiffel tower was however quite ambitious.Anonymous

Quiet and near to the metroUnfriendly receptionists. normally at other hotels, we were always told or explained about the times of the breakfast, people were at the reception asking for recommended restaurant etc but here, none of it. we reckon because they look so unwelcoming that you just don't want to approach them!Cook

In spite of the hotel being under renovation (new roof), our stay at the carina hotel was very peaceful and pleasant. in particular the staff was very helpful and friendly. the beds were comfortable. beds were made and fresh towels every day.The bathtub in which you need to stand to take a shower, was rounded and slippery, a little tricky, but not a big deal. secondly, the rooms were a lot smaller than reflected on the pictures. also, had requested twin beds and got one (queen) bed instead, in both rooms.spinoza
