How to reach the Grand Hotel Magenta ?From Airport Charles de Gaulle: Take the RER B (blue) train and get off at 'Gare du Nord'. From there, you can walk to the hotel or take metro line 4 direction 'Porte d'Orléans' for 1 stop and get off at metro stop 'Gare de l'Est'. The hotel is only a few meters away from the metro station.

Location is great, staff very friendly and helpful regards any queries we had about getting to different parts of paris.
Just that it can be noisy with the traffic and cars beeping horns. the rooms are old and could do with being done up a bit like new carpets and a lick of paintBarry

Very nice location: close to gard du nord from where you can reach any place you like by bus or by rer for 1,60 euro. amazing food in italian restaurant nearby: la villa andrea on bd. magenta 109.Very noisy from outside even in sounproof room and if to open the window to get fresh air - be ready to read books, watch tv or smth. else all night long. walls are also rather thin. cleaning of the room is not very good. but price is fair if you need a room just to sleep after allday sightseeing .... with closed windows Anonymous

The hotel was in a great location although rather noisy at night. the room was in a fair condition for an old original parisian building. the reception we received on arrival was positive.The room needed some renovation but for a one star budget accommodation it was okay and we were only sleeping anyway.Anonymous
