All the world famous boutiques (Hermes, Colette,Chanel), the Galleries Lafayette, the Parisian resturants, cinemas and the theatres are in the vicinity as well as the historical and cultural attractions such as musée de Louvre, Tuileries, and Opera. From here you can easily visit attractions outside Paris such as Eurodisneyland Paris or The Chateau at Versailles, to name a few.
How to reach the Hotel Daunou Opera?From Orly Airport: Take the Orlyval from Orly to Anthony. From there take the RER B train to Chatelet and change to metro line 7 direction 'La Courneuve' and get off at metro stop 'Opera'. The hotel is within walking distance of the metro stop.
From Motorway A (by car): Go to Peripherique Ouest and get off at Porte Maillot. Then follow the signs to 'Concorde' and then to 'Opera'. You will find a public paid car park (accessible 24 hurs a day) at Place Vendome ( 2 minutes away the hotel).

Extremely helpful staff and perfectly located sight seeing, and even more so shopping. small room, but very well lid out and spotlessly clean. quiet room in the heart of the city. we missed breakfast, hence the service/facilities being rated as good - as not sure what breakfast is like, but plenty of well priced cafe's & restauants in the area.Anonymous
