The hotel Du Moulin is located only 10 minutes away from the Champs Elysées and the Opera House, just a few steps from the Sacre Coeur. Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower are 15 minutes away from the hotel as are The Louvre, Palais Royal, Chatelet and the central islands Ile de la Cité (location of the mythical Notre Dame cathedral) and Ile de Saint Louis.
How to reach the Hotel Du Moulin?From Charles de Gaulle airport: Take the RER B and get off at Gare du Nord. From there take the Line 4 direction porte de Clignancourt and get off at Barbès Rochechouart . Change to line 2 and stop at Station Blanche. . Hotel du Moulin is at few minute walk from the metro stop.
From Orly airport: Take the C6 (yellow) SNCF train and change trains at Antony station. From there catch the RER B at Antony station and continue to Gare du Nord. From there take the Line 4 direction porte de Clignancourt and get off at Barbès Rochechouart . Change to line 2 and stop at Station Blanche. . The hotel is located in a lively area, very handy for the metro. there is plenty to do within close proximity but it is in a secluded street so was quiet as well. the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms kept very clean. very good value for money.No air conditioning in the rooms.de Groot

The hotel was good value for the locationThe bathroom was a bit tired and old and it was also annoying that the shower could not be fixed to the wall but instead had to be held in the hand whilst showering. bushnell

I really enjoyed staying there... the staff was excellent great english and great directions... pretty close to the metro (which i suggest using very easy) the room was small but the garden was great! we ate and drank wine out in the garden. there are plenty of pubs and resturants around there. i not even the price this was a welcoming and lovely room. offered free internet in the lobby bonus!Walter

Fairly clean, great staff, very helpful and good english. only a block from the moulin rouge.Room was a little small, and there was some mold on the walls in the garden room we were in...but not too bad...the kyriad hotel we were in the previous nights had a bed bug infestation...so this was much better!Anonymous

The hotel position is very good, being so close to the metro and of course montmatre/sacre coeur is a on the doorstep. i would definitely stay in this area again. pricing seemed fair for paris, don't expect luxury, but this was booked just as a room to sleep and change in before getting out in to the city.
the staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful too.
tip: if you want a beer and don't want to be ripped off by most of the bars in the area, pop back down rue lepic to lux bar. good music, great prices and friendly too, and as a bonus on the corner opposite is an excellent boulangerie. open early to late you can get fantastic baguettes and pastries, and if you're really lucky you might get some freebies :~)Maybe the rooms could do with a bit of updating.Anonymous
