One female staff member at the desk was lovely and very helpful. however one male staff member was a bit offhand and unfriendly. there was internet access but only occasionally.
We received two messages from parisian friends which were not forwarded to us- we asked at the desk and were told that there were no messages. people should be advised re the difficulty in getting a taxi when checking out if they have time constraints for trains or planes. it was very frustrating.....awkward to climb two flights of stairs with a lot of luggage. the good part however was that we were up in the attic and the room was gorgeous. it was terrible when we left as there were seven flights of circular stairs to negotiate with all the luggage again as the single elevator was out of order.
