The eiffel seine was very elegantly decorated in the art deco style, and was spotlessly clean and tidy. the staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. they were able to give us an upgrade for the first two nights of our stay and even the smaller room we stayed in for the last two nights had a lovely view of the seine. the location was great as it is literally directly opposite bir hakeim tube and round the corner from the eiffel tower. highly recommended.
Be warned if you are staying in the next few weeks there is some construction work going on nearby that can be heard if you open the window from a street facing room. also, the traffic can also still be faintly heard at night even with the window closed. if you are sensitive to noise i recommend one of the courtyard facing rooms, which seemed much quieter.
also, avoid the terrible tourist restaurants nearby. brasserie ribe is an exception. don't eat anywhere that isn't full of french people because it will be decidedly average!
