Well, first impressions, clam and 'posh' feeling to the place. i booked the hotel, then read the reviews... i know. but 98% were v.good. and i too think the same. everyones experince is different, but i really enjoyed my short stay here. out of the 3 staff we met, they were friendly and funny- didn't expect the later. told them it was our honeymoon, and ended up with a free bottle of champsers in our room. would recomend this hotel. 
The room service, on time and all that, but for what we paid, really wasn't what we expected. but in their diffence, they outsource the room service to some resturasnt or something. probably could do with updating the menu or changing the contract.
