Moulin Vert Hotel Paris LocationMoulin Vert Hotel Paris Location (Map)
This charming hotel enjoys a central location in a lively and popular district in Paris. The Alésia-Montparnasse district has long been the favourite place for artists. The painter Picasso, the sculptor Giacometti and the singer Georges Brassens, to name just three, all lived very close to the Hotel Moulin Vert. Although located right in the heart of Paris, the district has managed to preserve its village-like character. Boutiques, bistros and street markets coexist in harmony. Residents and office workers lend stability and security to the neighbourhood.

Within only 4 minutes walking distance you can find the 'Boutiques dégriffées' on 'Rue Alésia', offering marked-down designer clothing with labels removed. Also metro station 'Pernety' is at only 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel, offering good connection to the rest of the city. Within 15 minutes you are able to reach the Champs Elysées and Luxembourg Garden by metro and the Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower are 20 minutes away by metro.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. the hotel was in a very nice and interesting residential area of paris---great for those who want to avoid hordes of tourists! convenient, too, to subway stops.
The hotel is in the process of renovation, which is quite visible in the front reception area. as it is an old hotel, we saw peeling paint in a few areas (e.g., our bathroom) whidh have not yet been renovated. this kind of thing doesn't bother us, but those who want to avoid signs of renovation in progress would probably not be happy here at the moment.
