How to reach the Paris Hotel, Le Mediterraneen?From Airport Charles de Gaulle: Take the RER B (blue) train and change trains at 'Châtelet Les Halles'. Change to the RER A (red) train direction 'Marne-la-Vallée'/'Boissy-Saint-Léger' and get off at station 'Gare de Lyon'. The hotel is at 7 minutes walking distance from the station.
From Airport Orly: Take the C6 (yellow) SNCF train and change trains at Antony station to the RER B train and change trains again at 'Châtelet Les Halles'. Change to the RER A (red) train direction 'Marne-la-Vallée'/'Boissy-Saint-Léger' and get off at station 'Gare de Lyon'. The hotel is at 7 minutes walking distance from the station.

Clean room, friendly reception, excellent location
- a lot of noise during the late evening. (people entering/leaving their room)
- the 4th bed (we were 2 adults + 2 children) was a small sized portable bed.Anonymous

Convenient to gare de lyon metro and train station. staff was courteous.Lack of an elevator was inconvenient. room was very crowded with four people. step to bathroom was a hazard - everyone tripped at least once.Chagnon

This a good hotel in a good location. gare lyon is 4 min walk.metro line #1 (yellow line) direction la defence to chatelet les halles to anywhere in paris. the staff are excellent. the young girl who checked us in so friendly. stayed two nights the rooms are small very common in paris very clean and fresh paint and very hot water. the bathroom had the smallest shower i have ever seen so if you are tall or overweight you would have tough time getting in and out it was fine for me but no bigger than rv shower. i've been to paris a lot and this a good location and price for first time visitors. in off season you can find better deals by tour eiffle or other landmarks but in summer you will pay a lot for it. i would stay here again and would say you will leave happy and with few extra euros.budget travelers this cheaper than a hostel and way better. I've stayed here twice. very clean and friendly. the young couple who run the place are very nice. the breakfast was better than expected for a hotel of this level.No elevator. wi-fi is free but goes down a lot. hotel charges €5 to leave your bags for a few hours after checkout. lots of noise in the hallway at all hours on my second stay.Anonymous

Near gare du lyon fot thosse travelling to south east france. helpful lady on reception who spoke english. decent size bedroom and bathroom. neighbourhood seemed safe. neighbourhood. No lift & carrying bags up 4 floors with narrow stairs was not easy.gould

I found the hotel very clean, in a "real" neighbourhood yet very close to the centre of paris. public transport in the area was excellent, with gare de lyons and buses only a few minutes walk away. the staff at the hotel were friendly and very keen to help particularly the young woman at reception who was really a delight. i would be happy to recommend this hotel to the budget conscious traveller who is wanting a convenient, friendly, affordable real paris experience.Anonymous

The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. it was located close to a subway station, so we had easy access to all of the sites and landmarks. it was a decent place to stay for such a low price.The hotel had no elevators and the rooms were small.Anonymous

Hotel staff were very helpfull and made both my wife and i feel very welcome.
hotel was very clean and well looked after.
enjoyed the cahracter of the room and building.
location was great and within easy reach of station. if planning to go to disney land this is a good place to stay.The only thing wrong was the lack of a lift. we stopped on the 4th floor and the stairs were very narrow.Anonymous
