Buttes Chaumont Paris

Paris has a lot of amazing parks to visit and one of the best is the Buttes-Chaumont Park located at the northeastern part of this famous city. What made this park so unusual is the way it was uniquely built on a massive outcropping of rock. The location is very unlikely as most parks are built on a more level section of landscape. There is another unique feature of this park in that it boasts of a twenty-story difference between its highest and lowest elevations. Because of this amazing landscape, it has lost the "evil reputation" that it had originally held during the 18th century and has instead become a widely appreciated location that is constantly wooing new visitors. There is a circular lake at the Buttes that is centrally located in this beautiful park. There is also a steep 16-story mountain of rock that stands at the center of it. Tourists quickly learn to settle into the interesting landscape here and can enjoy an entire day either with the kids or with a romantic partner. Of course, Paris is known for its wide romantic appeal and the Buttes-Chaumont is no exception to the rule!
