The Casa del Moral or the House of Moral is one of the most beautiful Arequipa attractions. The Casa del Moral, built in the eighteenth century in the year 1730 is a large ancestral house in Arequipa Peru that is one of the most important and well-preserved architectural monuments in the Baroque period. The name is derived from the ancient blackberry (mora) tree that grows in the main patio of the house.

Exploring the Casa del Moral is one of the activities in Arequipa that one can enjoy. It houses a collection of beautiful paintings from the School of Cuzco which is a colonial type of art. It also boasts of a library that contains about 3,000 volumes of Hispanic literature. Furniture from Peruvian Colonial epochs is also on display, as well as a room where sixteen century maps of America can be seen. The house is now owned by the Peruvian bank Bancosur.
