A visit to any of Lima’s beaches is just a part of the great activities in Lima that cannot be missed. A ten minute drive from Pucasana is where you can find the Playa Naplo, a sandy beach with relatively calm seas. The beach is perfect for swimming and it is so calm that it actually looks like a swimming pool.

Visiting the Playa Naplo is described in Lima tourism as one of the greatest pleasures in Peru. Here, you will surely enjoy not only the calm and still waters but also the stylish beach houses in the bay area, some even as high as four floors. A lot of wealthy people from Lima own beach houses near the Playa Naplo. The current President of Peru, Alan Garcia, owns a summer home in the beach as well. There are also private piers in the area for yachts and the Pucusana Yacht Club, a famous yacht club in the 1970’s which can also be found in Naplo beach.
