Driving down south from the Peruvian capital, one will find beautiful beaches that are one of the many Lima attractions. One of the most stunning beaches in the south found behind a complex of fabulous apartments is a beach called Kon Tiki. The Kon Tiki beach is named after the raft used by the Norwegian explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl in his 1947 expedition across the Pacific Ocean. He came from South America to the Polynesian islands and he named the book he wrote about his adventures Kon Tiki as well.
The Kon Tiki beach is not only known for the beautiful apartments and the wonderful beach houses surrounding it but it is also known for its exclusive Club House where residents and tenants hang out during the summer. One of the activities in Lima is to visit and surf at the Kon Tiki beach as its waves are known to be perfect for any surfer’s delight.
