The British American Hospital is one of the Lima attractions. The Anglo-American hospital started serving the Peruvian community in November 1921. It is said that in the beginning of the 1920s, Peru exported raw materials to Europe and the United States. The country then became a collection center and this is when the hospital was founded. The hospital was also established with the collaboration of the Methodist Episcopal Mission. Forty years after it was first established, the hospital was reconstructed because of an earthquake.
One of the many things to do in Lima is to visit the British American Hospital because of its excellent services. The hospital ranked 446 in the Business PEP rankings produced by Peru Credits. The hospital provides top services when it comes to cardiology, rehabilitation, pharmacy, respiratory, and even eating disorders. The hospital also has a Health Program wherein it enables its members to avail of special services.
