Parque de Amour is one of the most beautiful sights of Lima. It is located in the Miraflores district near the Pacific Ocean. The view overlooking the ocean makes the place very romantic for lovers. Literally named the Park of Love, the park opened on Valentines Day in 1993. The mosaic benches in Parque del Amour may remind one of the colorful tiled mosaic benches in the famous Park Guell in Barcelona Spain by Antonio Gaudi.

The park is one of the well-known Lima attractions as it is famous for its centerpiece, a sculpture of a couple engaged in a passionate kiss sculpted by Victor Delfin. The sculpture commemorates the lovers who would gather at the park to watch the sunset at the Pacific Ocean. Couples can be seen any time of the day as well, kissing or snuggling close together.
