One of the activities in Lima that anyone would enjoy doing is a visit to the Museo de Arte Italiano or the Italian Art Museum. The museum that houses Italian art features an Italian Renaissance façade, complete with the neo-classical building and the beautifully manicured front yard.

A visit to the Italian Art Museum is one of the most interesting things to do in Lima. The Museum of Italian Art, given by the Italian community for the Centennial of our Independence, has a permanent collection of 314 original art works. These objects contain elements from Italian artists such as Donatello, Ghiberti, Michelangelo and Bottielli. The museum is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm.
