Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos Lima

With the motto of “University of Peru, Dean of America”, the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) or Major National University of San Marcos is one of the famous Lima attractions. It is well known as one of the oldest universities in the world, being chartered by Royal Decree on May 12, 1551 and signed no less by Charles I of Spain.
