What may be one of the top reasons people choose to vacation in the Philippines is the view from the various beaches and bays in the country. Manila Bay is no exception and, with all the other intriguing tourist draws built around the area, it’s no wonder that this is one of the premier destinations for all visitors. While most tourists are mostly looking to take advantage of the beaches and views of sunsets (red and orange bursting on the horizon), there are also family-oriented as well as romantic locations to take a little time out and relax for all.

The Promenade in Roxas Boulevard (which actually overlooks Manila Bay) is where you’ll find the Malate Church, a historic site to visit; the restored Rajah Sulayman Park and its organic beauty; and plenty of eating and shopping. There is also usually a free grand show to enjoy daily, weather permitting. As you find your way into the Philippines and Manila itself, don’t forget to at least pay a day’s visit to Manila Bay.
