There are a number of attractions in Manila, The Philippines that you’ll want to catch when you plan your vacation there. However, few are as intriguingly beautiful as the Puerto Real Gardens. Though small, this little area is laid out by what is left of the moat that used to surround the Intramuros as a defensive mechanism. Today, it is a relaxing location to take a stroll. You will find a beautiful view of the Puerta Real, the royal gate that was used for stately processions after which this garden was named.

You can also see a section of the Intramuros’ moss-covered walls from the Puerto Real Gardens while enjoying the opportunity to simply stroll through the gardens and reminisce about the past and history of the area. These gardens in Manila also offer an excellent fitting venue for a series of cultural shows called Intramuros Evenings, which are staged annually within the garden park by the Intramuros Administration.
