 "Amazing Resort but..."
For a week, my wife, our 8months old son and me were guests at this resort.The resort itself is just beautiful. One wonderful infinity pool, two private beaches and of course a golf course, situated with just ten minutes by shuttle from the DMall away.The service and attitude of every single employee of this resort was extraordinarily friendly.Unfortunately this hotel is not prepared for young kids. When we booked, we specifically pointed out that we will arrive with an 8months old infant, which comes with various needs in infrastructure, etc. As a result we were put in a beautiful room but at the very back end of their resort where their new lounge was about to open. Meaning: no restaurant, no shop/s pretty much nothing around us but a nice view. Of course, we got the room on the third floor of their building offering no elevator and therefore requiring us to every day, numerous times climb the stairs the old-fashioned way, carrying the baby stroller while "enjoying" the 36 plus degrees Celsius. In addition, our building (building 5) was still not completely finished. On-going construction on the ground floor and refurbishment of the rooms right next to us, brought its extra in noise and dust, and once the electricity broke down, requesting us to move rooms for one night.In the restaurant we found that their wasn't a baby chair to get nor could we find the promised international breakfast buffet besides pancakes and eggs. The rest of the breakfast buffet was pretty much all asian, prepared for the many Chinese tourist groups that stayed in the hotel.All in all, we loved it though. Our stay had its challenges, the staff though alway tried to help and got never tired of us asking for their support. Big thank you for that!!!!We hope that our review helps, the resort to even get better and the guests to prepare.
