Poland’s Wroclaw is also known as Breslau, in German and located in the Silesia region. Like many European cities, Wroclaw features a central city square, called the Rynek, from which to branch out and begin your tour of the area. The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist houses the largest church organ in all of Poland. The Town Hall, constructed in the 14th century, now contains the Museum of Burgher Art. Near the town’s center you can also find Salt Square, the National Museum, and the Opera House for a taste of Polish culture. A Botanical Gardena and Japanese Garden offer a view of beautiful landscaping.
