Poland is one of the nicest countries in Europe in which to take a trip. The cities in Poland are beautiful and filled with many interesting monuments and statues o visit. The city of Krakow has many of these beautiful places located in its Old Town Square. The Old Town Square is a great starting point for anyone visiting the city. Located in the Old Town Square is the famous Statue of Mickiewicz.

The Famous Adam Mickiewicz was an author from the country who died in Istanbul in the year 1855. The original form of the much visited statue of a well known patriot was destroyed by the Nazi’s and had to be reconstructed. This statue is a popular place to go and sit and enjoy the day. This lovely statue is a great reason to go to the Old Town Square in Krakow, however when you get there you will see there are many other great things to see.
